By integrating Scania’s Core state of art battery systems into Dynell’s fully electric ground power units, Dynell is scaling a new generation of clean, high-performance infrastructure designed to replace conventional diesel-powered ground support equipment.
Powering Electric Ground Operations
The collaboration centers on Dynell’s DEM 045-090 electric ground power unit, delivering reliable mobile aircraft power with up to 90 kVA output. Designed for seamless integration into airport operations, the solution supports airports, airlines, and ground handlers in transitioning to efficient, zero-emission ground support.
Scaling Sustainable Impact
Dynell has already deployed hundreds of systems powered by Scania Core batteries in operational airport environments, with approximately 500 units expected to be in service by 2026. This rapid expansion reflects growing global demand for scalable, zero-emission ground support solutions and highlights Dynell’s role in supporting airports on their journey toward net-zero operations.
